Save NPR and PBS
Chandrasutra has written an excellent post about MoveOn.org's campaign to save NPR and PBS. It's got some informative articles linked to it, and she explains why Canadians should be concerned about this threat to American public broadcasting. Go take a look.

I hate to throw cold water on a good idea, but at this point, I think we have only two choices--cut the hell of the PBS and NPR budgets, or fully fund them under right-wing control. I vote for the former, and the way PBS has been caving for the last few years, they shouldn't come boo-hooing to me.
Wow, DED - I'm surprised.
Even if PBS has caved to a degree, isn't it still worth saving?
