Bloghertastic!

Blogher logo

Just gotten back from the Blogher conference, and I'm feeling a bit sick from overdosing on so much Coke/coffee/tea. My emotions are in quite a different place, though; I'm still heady from the experience.

I'm too exhausted from the intensive day-long conference to write much about it, but here are my initial thoughts:

  1. Blogher was an unqualified success. More details on why later.

  2. The Blogher team - Elisa Camahort, Jory Des Jardins, Purvi Shah, Lisa Stone, Katrin Verclas - and everyone involved with Blogher have alot to be proud of, and their professional stock has definitely risen. (Perhaps more importantly, in some respects, their personal stock has risen.)

  3. There's got to be a Blogher 2006. With Shelley from Burningbird.

Dear Sour Duck,
It was a real pleasure to meet you face-to-face. I hope that those of us who took part in the Feminism/Politics panel can continue our discussion.

And you're right. BlogHer was an unqualified success. I look forward to 2006!

Hi AE - It was great to meet you as well! :) I need to sort out my notes and get writing - one on the feminism/politics discussion group, and another on people I met etc.

And I want to check out people's blogs who I met, of course! So much to do, so little time...
