A Bird's Eye View: Bye-bye for now

A stiff-upper-lip farewell to the blogger of A Bird's Eye View, who took her blog offline last week.

This was one of the first feminist blogs I found. The blogger, known only as "A Birdwoman", managed to write in a tone balanced between friendly and interrogating. Her posts were interesting, thoughtful, and often entertaining.

I was pleased to include one of her posts in the Carnival of Feminists issue that I hosted. Through her blog, she also introduced me to professional runner Kathrine Switzer and her remarkable story, prompting me to write my own post.

I'll miss her writings.

Keep an eye on the website, though. A little birdie told me she might be back.
